…and all these things shall be added to you.    Matthew 6:33

This scripture means we always need to have God at the forefront of our minds. As we go about our days, it is so easy to let the cares, the worries and our own plans choke out the purposes of God, such as evangelism.  When we get up in the morning, acknowledge your Creator, the One who gave you life.  Spend time in His Word and in prayer (start with baby steps).  Seek His directions and instruction for your day….fresh manna!

We tend to take ownership over our lives when it is no longer ours.  As we go to work, talk with coworkers.  If working alone or cleaning the house, talking with our children, moving up and down the aisles of the grocery store, or even working out at the health club, even at family gatherings and parties, With the potential of adding online slots still languishing in consultation mode, the casino funnel paid for just for 12. whatever it is that we are doing, we need to include God.  No matter what job you have or what title you hold, it does not come before the citizenship given to you by our Almighty God.  It comes first and foremost, above anything you”ve accomplished or succeeded at because He has given us the ability to do all things.

God”s plans and concerns must  come first and the desires of your heart will be added to your life abundantly.  God Bless You!  Traci

He who does not love does not know GOD, for GOD is Love. 1 John 4:8

Happy Valentine”s Day!

We hope you all are making plans to acknowledge those you love and care for with an encouraging gesture from you heart, expecially those of you who are married.  Don”t take your spouse for granted.  But more importantly, we always want to remember the one who is the source  of love and is love Himself,  God our Father. His love is supernatural love.

We can”t give this love when we don”t know God intimately.  If you think you”re in love, go to His Word to make sure you”re not in lust.  When you know God, He gives you the ability to love the way He loves, unconditionally, selflessly, timelessly in a covenant not under a contract.  When you”re able to experience his love and share it with others, is when you can begin to understand His love for you.  It”s amazing.

We pray that you can partake of God”s love, His everlasting love that continues beyond Valentine”s Day!  God Bless……………Traci

Osteoporosis Prevention

February 7, 2010

Taking Calcium is important to prevent osteoporosis but Vitamin D is beginning to emerge as an important supplement to protect against osteoporosis BUT also protects against certain cancers and support healthy heart function. When taking Calcium, doses of  600 mg twice a day is recommended (if you have never had kidney stones).  Buy a Calcium supplement which has Magnesium which helps prevent constipation in most cases.  Vitamin D dosing is usually 1000 to 2000 IU daily.  It is a good idea to have your Vitamin D level measured with a simple blood test.  Patients who are deficient are being prescribed Vitamin D  50,000 IU in a one time weekly dose.  Or, you can be sure to get 15 minutes of sun daily which is the more natural way of activating Vitamin D through your skin.  (Just take your Vitamin D until summer gets here!!!)
