FISH GUIDELINES FOR PREGNANT PATIENTS

  • Don”t eat shark, tilefish, king mackerel, or swordfiish.
  • You may eat up to 12 oz/wk of other cooked fish and seafood.
  • Limit albacore (“white”) tuna to 6 oz/wk.  Be careful of the large tuna often used in sushi or tuna steaks.
